Growth Watch Track - Emerging Companies
Committed to promoting up and coming companies, the Mid-Atlantic Bio conference continues to place an even greater focus on the next generation of emerging ideas and technologies, allowing attendees to have a glimpse into some of the region's rising business enterprises across a spectrum of sectors within the life sciences industry. This track will also allow entrepreneurs and scientists an opportunity to introduce their ideas to a broader audience of industry, scientists, investors, advisors, and professional services firms from the life sciences sector in attendance at the conference.
In the "Growth Watch" track, we are seeking to hear from companies that are in their earlier stages of development, exhibit either uniquely interesting technologies, have commercial promise, or possess a proprietary edge in the life sciences space.
These companies, while beyond the concept phase, may be seeking seed or early-stage funding for R&D. (Please note that it is not a requirement to be venture funding-ready/backable.) They could be operating in a broad array of life sciences sector including drug discovery, medical devices, diagnostics, etc. View the criteria for Emerging companies.
Selection Process
Once you have submitted
BOTH Part I and Part II of the application, your company's entry
will be reviewed by Mid-Atlantic Bio's Selection Committee. All applicants
will be notified of their selection status by September 27th.
If your company is chosen, as a requirement of selection, your presenting executive (and/or an alternate) must participate in a half-day seminar to be held on October 1st to prepare for formal presentations. Please be advised that attendance is MANDATORY.
Presentation Fee
The selected company presenter's discounted fee to attend and present at the conference is $425 (special code will be provided). You may also register additional company executives at the early bird rate of $450 via the registration site.
